About this item
This is a mint example of a silver half hunter pocket watch which has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1943
The movement was made in Switzerland for Bravingtons. It was sent to the UK and is housed by a superb example of a Dennison case and comes in its original box.
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. The movement is jewelled throughout. It is signed “Renown, 16 Jewels, Swiss Made” and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in an English silver case by Dennison which has a hinged inner, back and front. The front cover pops open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has coin edged sides, engine turning and dark blue enamel chapter rings on the front cover. The case is in 95% mint condition – this is a very clean and crisp example but there is a small scratch on the inner cover and some very small marks elsewhere
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is in signed “Bravingtons Renown, Swiss Made”. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass over the dial and in the front cover also

The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in its original brown leather box lined with silk and velvet signed “Bravingtons”
