About this item
This is an American pocket watch made by the New England Watch Co or NEW Co as they are more commonly known.
This watch is full skeletonised so that you can see the workings of the dial and movement.
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement is skeletonised and has a duplex escapement and is signed “NEW Co”. The movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a white metal case, which has a snap on glass back and front – so that both the dial and movement are visible as is the skeleton movement. The case has coin edged sides with a smooth plain finish on the edges. The case haws a gilt metal bow and is in 90% mint condition – light marks and the nickel plating has worn off some of the high points
Dial – the gilt skeleton dial has a full set of blue steel filigree hands and is in 95% mint condition
The watch has a glass back on each side
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch measures 51mm wide x 18mm deep
