Vintage hunter pocket watch by Waltham. 19 Jewel Riverside c1913

This pocket watch movement was made by Waltham USA. It was sent to the UK where it was cased by Dennison and sold in the UK.

The watch comes in its original cardboard box from Dennison

Movement – the top quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator, gold train wheels and raised gold jewel settings. The movement is decorated with damascening and is signed “A.W.W.Co, Waltham, Mass, Riverside, Adjusted 5 positions, 19 Jewels” #19014093. The movement is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a gold plated hunter case by Dennison, which has a hinged inner, back and front. The front cover pops open to 45 degrees when you press the winder in and then needs to be lifted to the full 90 degrees.

The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – there is a soft bruise on one side and some light scratches.

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Waltham, USA”. The dial is in 99% mint condition

The watch measures 50mm wide x 13mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
