This is a Swiss pocket watch made by the Tempor Watch Co, Switzerland
Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a cylinder escapement and is in 95% mint condition – some spotting on the winding wheel.
Case – the movement comes in a silver triangular shaped case, which has a hinged back and a fixed bezel. The movement sits in a recess covered with glass and the inside of the case is engraved “Tempor Watch Co, Schwab-Loeillet, Geneve, Depose 18195, B.S.G.D.G 509”
The case is decorated with raised Masonic symbols on the back and sides and the detail is of the highest quality. The case has a tiny signature on the lower back: “Holy Freres” – a case maker of beautiful cases like this one.
The case has a large cabochon stone set just under the winder and also has a bow with Masonic imagery also. The case has initials GBJ in blue enamel on the front. The case is in 95% mint condition – slight scratching on the enamel but overall in superb condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has masonic imagery where there should be numbers and is signed “Aime Ton Semblable, Tends Lui Une Main Securable” – the equivalent of “Love your fellow man, lend him a helping hand”. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The watch measures 68mm inc the bow x 54mm wide x 11mm deep
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch is stem wound / stem set
