This is a very rare triple signed Rolex pocket watch which comes in a special 9K gold Tonneau shaped case with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1905
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and screw jewel settings. The movement is signed “Rolex, Extra Prima, 17 Jewels, Timed 6 positions for all climates, Swiss Made” # 802850 and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a solid 9K gold square shaped Tonneau case, which has a snap on back and front. The inside of the case is signed “Rolex, 25 World’s Records, Geneva-Suisse, RWC Ltd” The back of the case has tapered corners and a smooth plain finish. The case is in 90% mint condition – small marks only.
Dial – the silver guilloche dial has a sunburst pattern, seen when the watch is held in a certain light. It also has elegant blue steel, Breguet style hands and is signed “Rolex, Swiss Made”. The dial is in 95% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 52mm long x 40mm wide x 7mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
