The case would be an excellent substitute if you needed a 16s case

Movement – the nickel 3 finger bridge movement has a lever escapement, a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA, 17 Jewels, Adj 3 positions” # 17771370. The movement is in 90% mint condition – a little dirty

Case – the movement comes in a chromed white metal case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has coin edged sides, engine turning and vacant crest on the back. The case is in 95% mint condition – practically unused condition with a few small only but the back cover does not line up with the stem – the crest points to 9 o clock as opposed to the 12 o clock position for the winder

Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has a set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Elgin” and is in 80% mint condition – some faint hairlines

The watch has a light yellow plastic glass

The watch is stem wound / stem set

The watch measures 49mm wide x 13mm deep
