About this item
Silver 0.935 Half Hunter Pocket Watch Swiss 1900
With history!
A silver 0.935 manual wind half hunter pocket watch with red enamel front, made in Switzerland in the 1900’s. The movement is signed: “S & Co” for Stauffer. Stauffer worked for IWC.
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands.
MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement has blued screws and a wolf tooth winding. The movement is in very good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “S & Co” for Stauffer.
CASE: The watch lies in a silver 0.935 half hunter case with an engraved finish. The inner side of the case and cuvette are stamped for silver 0.935 and numbered: 183102. The cuvette is engraved: “To Anne Marion Davidson, From Her Grandmother & Grandfather Laing on Their Wedding Day, 2nd October 1900”. The front of the case has blue enamel Roman numerals on red enamel. Please see pictures.
