Solid 18K gold 3 colour hunter case pocket watch by Lohengrin c1910

This is a Swiss pocket watch made for the Spanish market. The watch is very unusual to have this three colour gold case.

Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, 15 jewels, is signed “Lohengrin” and is in 90% mint condition – light marks and scratches

Case – the movement comes in a solid 18K gold hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The inner cover is signed “Lohengrin, Ancres Levees Visibles, 15 Rubis, Brevete, Reloj de precision”. The inner cover is also decorated with miniature medals with individual engraving. The front cover pops open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has raised carved floral detailing on the back and front. The case is then decorated with lines of yellow and white gold contrasting against the more coppery gold colour of the case. The case is in 100% mint condition – pristine and crisp

Dial – the gold coloured dial has an unusual pattern with wedge shaped silver cartouches for each number against a gold brushed background. The dial has blue steel hands and is in 99% mint condition

The watch has a synthetic glass

The watch measures 40mm wide x 8.6mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set

The watch comes in a leather fitted box of the period.
