About this item
Movement – this good quality gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and 15 Jewels. The movement is signed “F. Sagne, Locle, No 16449”. The movement is in 95% mint condition – very clean condition with only a few marks on the steel winding post and click
Case – the movement comes in a silver case which has no marks for silver but has been tested and is sold with our usual 100% guarantee that it is solid silver. The case has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The inner is signed “F Sagne, Locle, Full Jewelled, Improved Lever, No 16440”. The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the button on the stem in. The case is decorated with engine turning, coin edged sides and a cartouche on the front cover. The case is in 95% mint condition – clean and crisp
Dial – the white enamel dial has blue steel hands and is in 99% mint condition – tiny marks only.
The watch measures 53mm wide
The watch is key wound / key set
The watch has a mineral glass.
