About this item
This is a beautiful and top quality pocket watch which is 14K white gold and is in the Art Deco style. The watch also has its original box, cardboard box and certificate. The watch has sat in this box since the day it was made and is in unused condition
Movement – the high quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a gold set endstone on the balance. The movement is signed “E. Howard Watch Co, Boston, USA, Patd 21, 21J” 48456 and is in 100% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a solid 14K white gold 8 sided case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The inside of the case is signed “E Howard Watch Co, Keystone, 14K White Gold”. The case is decorated with finely chased sides and the back has smooth finish. The case is in 99% mint condition – the lightest of marks from the velvet in the box
Dial – the silvered dial has a matt centre and a polished outer with raised gold coloured numbers in the Art Deco style and blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Howard” and is in 99% mint condition – tiny blemishes on the dial from the time of production
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 42mm wide x 9mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in its original wooded box lined with silk and velvet signed Howard. The silk over the hinged area has worn away through age.
The box comes with its original certificate from Howard
The watch and box also comes with its original cardboard box with full details of this exact watch printed on the lid. The cardboard is a little worn in places
