This is a Swiss pocket watch retailed by eminent jewellers Shreve, Crump & Low Co, Boston circa 1890
Movement – nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement. It is decorated with damascening and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The inner cover is signed “Shreve, Crump and Low Co, Boston”. The case has an unusual carved scalloped design and is in 95% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a beautiful pair of gilt filigree hands and is decorated with gold enamel points and stars. The dial is signed “Shreve, Crump and Low Co, Boston” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch is stem wound / stem set – the hand setting is very stiff and hard to pull out
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 46mm wide x 14mm deep
