This is a Swiss pocket watch made for the American market
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement signed “Cortebert Watch Co, Swiss, 624 Cort, Unadjusted, 17 Jewels, SOX”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light tarnish
Case – the movement comes in a 10K rolled gold plate open face case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 85% mint condition – some small marks on the back and light surface scratches
Dial – the champagne coloured silvered dial has stylish gilt numbers and hands. The dial is signed “Cortebert” and is in 90% mint condition – under a string eye glass, there are many little age related marks but to the naked eye, in excellent condition
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 44mm wide x 10mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
