A scarce Georgian playbill for Tuesday, January 30, 1827 for the memorial concert for the life of Prince Frederick Augustus, Duke of York and Albany KG GCB GCH (1763–1827), who had died on 5 January.
An extensive listing of the performers due to play and the music to be performed. Includes the London Premier of sacred music by Luigi Cherubini (1760-1842). The whole evening lead by the celebrated conductor and virtuosi violinist Paolo Spagnoletti (1768-1834) with performers including Mme Rosalbina Caradori-Allan (1800–1865).
