About this item
We love this original Japanese 2 sheet (Tatekan) poster for Peter Cook and Dudley's Moore's classic Bedazzled. Fantastic colours.
In Bedazzled, A bumbling short-order cook at Wimpy Burger in London, Stanley Moon (Dudley Moore) is infatuated with Margaret (Eleanor Bron), the statuesque waitress he works with. On the verge of suicide, he meets George Spiggott (Peter Cook), the devil, who, in return for his soul, grants him seven wishes to woo Margaret. Despite the wishes and the advice of the Seven Deadly Sins, including Lilian Lust (Raquel Welch), Stanley can't seem to win his love and shake the meddling Spiggott.
The Japanese Tatekan (also known as Tatsumi) which translates to a standing or signboard poster were printed in two pieces which were to be pasted together on the bill boards. Far rarer, and more stiking than the standard Japanese B2 posters, they are highly collectible.
This vintage movie poster been professionally linen-backed and is sized 20 x 58 inches (22 x 60 inches including the linen-backing). It will be sent rolled (unframed).
