    A depiction of the conference table in the Palace of Versailles with the peace negotiations taking place for the conclusion of the Crimean War. The image made by the distinguished French lithographer Marie-Alexandre Alophe (1812–1883). Lettered beneath the image with the title and the names of the fifteen statesmen depicted around the negotiating table. Signed "M. Alophe" in the the plate (lower right within the image). Embossed blindstamp for Gambart London (lower left) and Goupil Editeurs, Paris (centre).
