About this item
This "Plan of Kirkham Priory" was published in "London 4th June 1812 by Robert Wilkinson, No 58, Cornhill". It is a nice old engraving measuring 15"x 18" and shows a plan and details of the abbey. Below is the inscription "The above plan, together with the remains at T and W were taken by T. Atkinson Ebor AD 1754, the other part of the ruins were drawn 1806". Conditon of the plan is very good with some overall staining which does not detract from the lovely image, and some repairs around the edge which would not show when mounted.
