    Lettered with a number top right "9." And with text beneath "Publish'd according the the Act of Parliament" / "T.Bowles delin et sculp." / "A view of the Mansion House apointed for the Residence of the Lord Mayor of London during the year of his Mayoraltry. this noble Building was begun in 1739 Contains in Breadth 100 in Depth 220 feet."  / Published 12th May 1794 by Laurie & Whittle, 53 Fleet Street, London." Also with title in French "Vue de L'Hòtel de Lord Maire de Londres où ce Magistrat fait sa Demeure durant l'année de sa Magistrature. On Commença à bâtir cet Edifice L'an 1739 il a 100 piers et 220 piers de Profondeur". Framed.

    An attractively coloured optical view or vue d'optique of the Mansion House in the City of London. The original gouache bodycolour is in a good state.
