Dating to circa 1890, this vivid antique Indian print originates from Calcutta and depicts a lady holding a flower.
The strong colour and elegant female subject give the work considerable decorative presence, while the Calcutta mark visible to the front provides an interesting period detail.
A particularly attractive example of late 19th century Indian printed imagery, with appeal to collectors of antique Indian prints, works on paper and decorative art from the subcontinent.
