    About this item

A beautifully detailed etching of a Stallion on morning exercise. Stallions are generally walked out in hand by the 'Stallion Man' rather than being ridden. The groom appears to be in Army Uniform. This picture has a French feel but the impressed mark is for Berne suggesting that this is Swiss. The frame is of Hogarth type and although in good condition has had some restoration to the gilding. The print has some discolouration at the edges due to its age.
