    A very impressive original antique racing print of good size, beautifully presented in a 19th Century burr-maple veneered frame. From "Ackerman's Series of National Steeple Chases".

    Lettered above image with series title, below image with print's title, and left to right the names of the jockeys, their colours and mounts, and: "To William Candler, Esqr,, RN. and the Gentlemen of the Worcestershire Hunt, this pair of prints representing the "Royal Birthday Stakes" on the 14th of March, is by permission, respectfully dedicated,/ BY THEIR OBEDIENT SERVANTS, The Publishers/ DRAWN & ENGRAVED BY CHAS. HUNT".

    The text with the names of the runners and riders as follows:
    "Tartan plaid, Black Cap, Mr Bretherton on Goblin, Blue, Purple Sleeves, Black Cap, Mr Oliver on Little Tommy, White, Black Cap, Mr.Powell on Tally-ho, Sky-Blue, Scarlet Cap, Mr. A.M.Donough on Roderick Random, Crimson, Black Cap, Mr Mason on Gay Lad, Green, Black Cap, Mr.W.M.Donough on Sam Weller, Green Stripes, Black Cap, Mr.Worth on Forty two, Black & Gold Braid, Black Cap, Mr.Goddard on Marchant, White Scarlet Stripe, Blk.Cp.
