    About this item

An interesting bronze plaque dating to approximately the 1920s and decorated with an image of a man working on an early printing press. The image is quite deeply impressed into the surface of the bronze plate and is very detailed, particularly around the man's face and hair. It is surrounded by an Art Nouveau style pattern of stylised peacock feathers. It bears no maker's marks.

Condition: There is minor scuffing to the surface of the bronze.
