It is  NOT trimmed there is  1  inch- 25 cm. minimum border all round the engraving
Steel Engravings were hand - engraved onto a steel plate in reverse by a specialist engraver, then inked by hand then the thick paper was laid onto the plate and pressed in a hand wound press individually
A very labour intensive process and probably the finest lines /details possible
