About this item
Harold Harris (British, 1912-1982), husband of artist Patricia Arnett (b. 1923, Slade School of Art).
Harold started painting in his own right and this is one of a series of linocuts we purchased as a batch, some hand coloured, by Harold and Patricia which were the result of a visit to Spain in 1956-57.
This one is signed by Harold. In an old thin card mount.
Image within mount aperture 31 x 22 cm (12.2 x 8.66 inches). Mount 39.5 x 31.8 cm (15.55 x 12.52 inches).
Titled to bottom of image "Jose, Painter's Boy, Spain", signed to margin of image (lower right).
Some puckering of especially on paper on upper edge.
