A GOOD GEORGE III SIDE CHAIR

Of good construction with a shaped crest rail, over a pierced gothic splat back, square straight fluted legs with square support "H" stretcher and bars. Traditionally uphostered seat, covered in a purple Damask, edged with close-studded brass pins. Made by an unknown provincial cabinet maker after the designs of Thomas Chippendale.
