1 British 1940's Original Enamel Southern Railway Target Sign From Ramsgate Station.

An impressive size being 84cm wide and 33cm high.

Most Southern Railway stations has green and whte enamel target signs which where mounted on stations lampposts, the unflanged signs where mounted on a wooden back board down the centre of the sign whihc was then attached to to the post or station buildings. Ref source railwayana.

Circa late 1940s mid century.

Made from enamel on metal back with a wooden board..
