19th century North Indian diamond and enamel ring
A 19thcentury North Indian diamond and enamel ring
The ring has a lovely cluster of table-cut diamonds in yellow gold rub over settings and the reverse of the cluster and the band are decorated in red, green and white enamel. The ring is unmarked but tests as high carat gold. The ring size it very difficult to gauge due to the shape of the band but is approximately P-R. The cluster is approximately 17cm in diameter.
Condition: The diamonds clarity is P2 which is typical of this cut of diamond in Indian jewellery. The enamel has extensive loses but the overall effect still works very well. A lovely antique Indian ring.
