    This is an excavated Roman silver finger ring, dating to the 3rd century A.D. It is of a Henig type VIII, with keeled shoulders and an oval box-type bezel. The ring is set with the green glass (imitating an emerald). The ring is intact but has a few stress lines from burial. See KENT-EC54C5 for further information.
