About this item
This is a nice Renaissance silver-gilt figural finger ring, dating to the 16th - 17th century AD. The ring is decorated with an oval bezel with a toothed setting, the cabochon gemstone is Amber. The shoulders appear to represent two mermaids or mermen entwined around eachother. The design is quite worn and missing some of the mercurial gold gilding. It is a nice looking ring that is intact with no damage and is wearable.
