About this item
A set of 4 silver plated open salts in the form of scallop shells balanced on the back of a trio of dolphins, complete with original matching spoons. They are beautifully modelled with lots of detail to the fish and shells. The matching spoons have dolphin terminals. They bear no maker's marks. They date to around the late 19th century. These would make an opulent addition to a dinner table.
