This beautiful carved panel originates from Gansu in western China, where it would have been used as a window panel or to form part of an internal divider .

It is in a duck egg blue finish, with delicately carvings depicting floral lattice work, set in a square frame.

Today it makes a wonderful wall decoration, perfect for placing above a console or sideboard.
