This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This seal has a 15K gold cap and suspension loop – it does not have any assay marks but is sold with our usual 100% refund guarantee that the item is gold where described.
The seal has a clear carved agate body with some light pink red stripes near the gold cap.
The base is decorated with an intgalio of Halley and the comet named after him
The seal measures 32mm long x 24mm x 20mm
The seal is in 95% mint condition
