About this item
This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This seal is made from a solid piece of agate carved into a seal.
The base is carved into a shape of a shield and has a lion rampart intaglio
The seal is topped with a gold suspension loop – Please note this has no assay marks
The seal measures 20mm x 9mm x 7mm
The seal is in 100% mint condition
