About this item
This seal is solid gold. The seal has been tested for the gold purity and is between 15K and 18K but please note it does not have any assay marks
The top quality shank has a square base set with a red hardstone engraved with an intaglio of a bird carrying a letter and the words in reverse “Ou va am Lettre je voudrois este” – rougly translated as “I wish I was your letter”
The shank has milled stepped sides and a strut handle with a suspension loop
The seal measures 26mm x 16mm x 14mm and is in 90% mint condition – one little ding on the corner of the base
