About this item
This seal has a base carved with an intaglio and was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal
This seal is a made from 18K gold. The base is metal covered with gold but the handle and suspension loop are solid gold. The seal has NO assay marks and is sold with our 100% money back guarantee that the seal is solid gold where described

The 18K gold seal has an oval base set with a red agate stone and engraved with the intaglio of a cherub (cupid) lighting a fire with the words “J’Alume le Feu”
