The watch has a good balance but the mainspring is slipping. The watch will run well for a while but the mainspring needs attention or replacing
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool, Premier, Swiss Made, 72393. It also has the Tempus Fugit logo on the winding wheels. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some light tarnish and marks only
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated Illinois open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish. The case is in 85% mint condition – some tiny bruises on the back plus the bow is brassy
Dial – the white enamel dial has blue steel hour and minute hands and seconds hand. The dial is signed “Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool, Premier” and is in 99% mint condition
The watch has is stem wound / stem set
The watch measures 50mm wide x 14mm deep
The watch has a mineral glass which has a small scratch above the 10
