About this item
This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a small gilt metal seal which looks like solid gold.
The seal has an oval base set with a white opaque stone
This is engraved with a floral intaglio.
The seal is decorated with carving and is topped with a suspension loop.
The seal measures 16mm x 8mm x 6mm and is in 95% mint condition.
