This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This seal has a solid 18K gold body - it does not have any assay marks but is sold with our usual 100% refund guarantee that the item is gold where described.
The seal has a domed carved base with a carved strut handle terminating in a thick gold suspension loop
The seal is set with a white stone carved with a family crest.
The seal measures 32mm x 23mm x 28mm
