This is a gilt metal seal
The seal has an oval base set with a red hardstone. The base is decorated with carved detailing
The handle is in the form of a lion with good detailing to the mane and tail
The seal has a suspension loop on the lion’s back
The seal measures 22mm x 18mm x 14mm
The seal is in 80% mint condition – an old solder repair where the suspension loop joins the back
