About this item
This is a gold seal but does not have any assay marks for gold. It weighs 8g. The seal has a metal ring withing the suspension loop to reinforce it and there is probably some metal in the base retaining the stone. The rest is gold.
The seal has red hardstone base engraved with initials MD in reverse.
The seal has a carved base and handle with a suspension loop.
The key measures 25mm x 18mm x 14mm and is in 80% mint condition – a lead solder repair on the handle which is reflected in the low price
