About this item
An imposing Regency secretaire, veneered with yew and burr yew, mahogany banding and boxwood stringing. Arranged with five graduated drawers below a frieze that conceals two shallow secret drawers, the top two drawers open as one to a secretaire interior, fitted with pigeon holes and drawers. All flanked by quatrefoil gothic style columns with ebonised capitals and plinths. Stands upon splay feet united by a serpentine frieze.
