This is an antique decorative tea tray. An Indian, carved mahogany butler's serving tray, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Profusely carved visage presenting Eastern promise
Displaying a desirable aged patina

Ornate foliate carvings to all surfaces draw the eye
Scrolled centrepiece issuing copious flower heads and flowing leaves
