About this item
A pretty canteen of silver plated and mother of pearl handled dessert fruit knives and forks with silver ferrules hallmarked by Walker & Hall dated 1920. This lovely set for 12 guests still retains the original charming handwritten note which accompanied it when it was given, presumably as a Wedding Present, in 1921. In good overall condition with just two knives showing wear: one has very small lifting of silver plate and another has an old repair. Nevertheless, all in good working order.
