BROWN TRANSFERWARE STAFFORDSHIRE RAISED COMPORT

Made in the Staffordshire Region of England  c. 1880

This Victorian aesthetic fruit or serving raised comport tazza stand measures 9 5/8 " wide x 5 1/8 " tall and is transfer printed in dark brown.  The printed transfer patterns feature sprays of buds, flowers and fruit of Blueberries mixed with wonderful foliage and Cedar Berries, massive flowering stems of Foxglove and Lilacs and clusters of ripe Acorns all reflecting the Victorian's love of Nature

The piece is in great condition, clean shiny and bright.
