    A Christopher Dresser for Minton dessert set of tazza with seven matching plates.

    These beautiful aesthetic movement Majolica plates were designed by Dr Christopher Dresser for Minton, England and have a latticework basket weave rim with woven fan pattern to the centre, glazed in the deepest green, Dated 1860s.

    Dr Christopher Dresser is often considered the most important British designer of the late 19th Century. Christopher Dresser (4 July 1834 – 24 November 1904) was a Scottish designer and design theorist. He was a pivotal figure in the Aesthetic Movement and a major contributor to the allied Anglo-Japanese or Modern English style, both of which originated in England and had long-lasting international influence.

    All plates are 23.5cm diameter (approx) and the Tazza is 6cm high.
