These are stunning plates measuring 9 inches in diameter. The transfer color is a rich bittersweet chocolate brown and further enhanced with hand painting in green, burnt orange and ocher red, professionally applied.
Two matching raised serving plates measure 9 inches wide x 3 inches tall.
The rare plates are decorated with a gorgeous inset of a boy or cherub's head, heart on scarf around his neck, surrounded by swags of pearls and flowers-- a delightful tribute to the Victorian love of nature and the exotic.
