    A very nice pair of late Victorian silver asparagus tongs with pretty pierced and engraved decoration to the blades creating a scrolling vine pattern and with reeded border around the edges. Hallmarked for London 1893, makers George Maudsley Jackson.

    They measure 21.5cm (8 1/2") long and 3.2cm (1 1/4") wide across the blades. They weigh 170g / 5.5ozt. 

    In very good condition with no damage or repair and only minor handling wear; ready for use.
