An exciting new find: A superb quality Art Deco English silver plated GIANT hip flask which holds ‘2 bottles’ (1.5 litres) by renowned silversmith James Dixon & Sons Ltd, CIrca 1930. Makers mark to the base. Beautiful basketweave engine turning to the four corners, the lid unscrews for access. In fantastic condition (almost pristine). This is a rare and beautiful piece of vintage barware. Originally, this flask would have been packed in and used on a driving expedition. A mighty 24cm high.
James Dixon & Sons Ltd were renowned in the early 20th Century for creating fine quality silverware and often created items for Dunhill.
