    About this item

A striking early 20th Century Secessionist or Art Nouveau oval porcelain serving tray with pierced gallery rim with twin handles at either end, on four small bun feet. This pretty tray has an inset porcelain tile with green fig leaves and two purple magnolia flowers. The silver plated rim has been attractively worn away to reveal the brass base creating a heavy patina of gold and silver.

An incredibly unusual tray Circa 1900s likely to be made by Villeroy and Bosch, Germany.
