A very cool pair of English 'Mid-Century Modern' bar caddies, storage jars or cookie / biscuit tins. Each with a lid with a white plastic handle. The interiors with anodised gilt effect. The exteriors printed with a detail of the central portion of Claes Van Visscher’s 1616 Panorama of London, showing the city from Southwark with St Paul's Cathedral as it appeared before the Great Fire.
Unmarked but possibly by Baret Ware or similar.
In good condition. One near immaculate, the other with slight rust and more wear to the lid etc (possibly indicating it was previously used as an ice bucket).
