This is an antique inlaid serving tray. An Anglo-Indian, mahogany and boxwood Colonial afternoon tea slide, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Enthusiastically inlaid tray with fine decorative appeal. Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Select stocks show fine grain interest beneath a wax polish finish. Rich caramel hues enhanced with superb boxwood inlay and ebonised borders. Distinctive rolled handles with foliate inlay motif. Dressed with a quality, deep blue protective baize to the reverse.
This is a wonderful antique inlaid serving tray, with fine colour and foliate decorations from the Colonial period. Delivered waxed, polished and ready to serve.
